Summer Break Coral and Scuba Immersion 

For Youth Ages 14-18 | 7 Days, 6 Nights | Rincón, Puerto Rico

Overview: This immersive camp equips teens with PADI certification, hands-on coral restoration surveillance training, and field experience in reef conservation. Participants will earn 15 hours of community service through this course and will be able to volunteer with Pa’Ti Mar after completing this immersion or other restoration projects globally.

What you’ll get

  • PADI Certification

    This globally recognized certification provides teens with the essential skills to dive safely up to 60 feet, preparing them for hands-on reef conservation and underwater research as part of the camp.

  • Reef Surveys

    Learn essential reef monitoring skills, including species identification and data collection, to help track reef health and contribute valuable information for conservation efforts. Earn 15 hours of community service!

  • Bleaching Surveys

    Teens are trained to identify coral bleaching, assess severity, and document findings, contributing critical data to monitor reef health and support restoration efforts.

  • Beach Experience

    Experience some of Puerto Rico's most stunning beaches, enjoying sun, and coastal beauty while learning about the importance of protecting these natural treasures.

  • Camp Experience

    Connect with like-minded teens from across Puerto Rico and the United States who share a passion for the ocean, fostering friendships and collaboration in marine conservation efforts.

  • Bilingual Immersion
